A function is a set that associates each element of domain to a unique set of elements of range. eg f(x)=x+1 is a function as each set of elements of x associates with unique element of f(x). Both the domain and range are real numbers.
A functional is a special type of function that consists of function as domain and range as real numbers.
Functional takes another function as a input. eg F(f)= integration of f(x) is an example of functional.

    Hello Sudeep.
I am having challenges setting up my environment from the previous week.
When I try to do the silicon exercise, and I run “conda activate qespresso”, I get an error message, “bash: conda: command not found”. I have tried to install conda, but hasnt worked. Did you encounter something similar? And how were you able to resolve it?
