The city and country from where I take this course: Rajshahi, Bangladesh
One reason why you should visit my city at least once in your life: Rajshahi, often referred to as the “Silk City” and the “Education City” of Bangladesh, is renowned for its mangoes, serene riverbanks, and rich cultural heritage. Visiting Rajshahi offers a unique blend of natural beauty and historical significance, making it a must-see destination for anyone interested in exploring the heart of Bangladesh.
My background (education, job, interests,…): I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in the physics department of the University of Rajshahi. My primary interest lies in condensed matter physics, and I am particularly focused on the ab initio method for my current research project. My academic journey has been driven by a deep fascination with the fundamental principles of physics and their applications in understanding the material world.
This is what I expect from this course: I am eager to learn the ins and outs of Quantum ESPRESSO, as this tool is crucial for my research in condensed matter physics. I discovered this course through the Quantum ESPRESSO website and believe it will provide me with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to advance my research.
This is the longer-term goal in my life to which I expect this course will contribute: My ultimate goal is to become a condensed matter physicist. This course will serve as a stepping stone toward that goal, equipping me with the essential tools and expertise needed to make significant contributions to the field of condensed matter physics.
