    The interactions between classical objects and quantum objects are different, in the later one, the antisymmetric property of electrons constrain the form of wavefunction, however, there still a gap between the guess function and exact one, thus it is called the correlation. In the former one, there is not such a requirement for objects, so it’s normal to define them in different way.
