    Solid is a state of matter where the molecules are closely packed with a limited degree of freedom. Solid possess a definite shape unlike other states of matter like liquid or gas.

    Hello Ajmal, I really liked yours definition. Do you also think that a collection of atoms, and not necessarily molecules, can also make solids?
