My name is Alex and I’m studying this course in Cambridge, England. Cambridge is a beautiful city with a lot of well-known history which is really worth a visit itself – but it is also a very diverse city and is worth visiting to experience the vibrant community of people from across the globe.

I am studying for a PhD at the Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge. My work has a strong materials science element, and I hope that this course will build upon my experience of DFT during my Master’s degree to give me a more well-rounded understanding of this powerful method.
