ab initio model

We call quantum physics an ab initio model because it is a fundamental model of how a quantum system works. Using this model we can predict and describe many observation.
The classical mechanics is an ab initio model because applying it we can reach many classical results. On the same way using Maxwell’s equations we can describe electromagnetic phenomena so that it is ab initio model.
