    Quantum physics is an ab initio model because it doesn’t rely on classical physics principles. And classical mechanics is ab initio because the models define the basic laws governing macroscopic motion. I’m not as sure about electromagnetism, but I think its models are ab initio as well. And I think it’s first principles would include Lenz’s law and Faraday’s law.
