    1. Since the quantum mechanics can explain all phenomenon that happened in quantum world, we hardly find more basic principles to replace the quantum mechanics, thus we call it ab initio. Additionally, we can make use of the principle and equation of quantum mechanics to predict new phenomenon that ever been discovered.

    2. The reason is almost same as question 1, classical mechanics can explain the motion in our normal life, and we can also make use of the classical mechanics to predict trajectory of object.

    3. If the classical electromagnetism refer to the Maxwell equation, I think we can call it the ab initio model to describe the electro-magnetic phenomenon.
