Quantum mechanics is ab initio because it is based on quantum mechanics principles such as the Schrodinger equation. Classical Mechanics is also ab initio because it is based on Newtons laws.
Classical electromagnetism is ab initio, and the first principle is based on many laws such as Maxwell equations.
