Experimentation alone will take millions of years to fully understand the biological nature of cancer cells and develop effective treatments. However, simulation and the design of new materials can accelerate this process and make our dream a reality sooner than expected. Imagine being able to design different forms of cancer cells and study the effects of changing their biological behavior from L-side materials to D-side materials and from cis to trans in silico. This would be a truly groundbreaking and amazing achievement.
