    The biggest difference I see is that wikipedia emphasizes that the external potential v(r) (and, by extension, the total energy of the system) is a unique functional of the electron density n(r). This aligns with the idea that if two systems have the same ground-state density, they must have the same potential, differing at most by a constant.
