The city and country from where I take this course: Medellín, Colombia
One reason why you should visit my city at least once in your life: Medellín is a city full of charming people, food is delicious, and the whether is quite nice all year.
My background: I’m a studying a bachelors degree in chemistry, and currently working in computational research of molecules of astrochemical interest, and rationally guided design of quasi-2D Dion-Jacobson perovskites.
This is what I expect from this course: Strengthen my modeling skills of periodic systems, specially within the DFT framework.
The longer term goal in my life to which I expect this course will contribute: Start my PhD or master studies with a quite good practical background in the topics covered here.
