Hello from the Netherlands

Hi, my name is Joeri. I’ll be following this course from the Netherlands. As a master’s student at Eindhoven University of Technology, I believe people should visit Eindhoven at least once. A lot is happening in and around Eindhoven in technology, specifically at the high-tech campus. My bachelor’s is in chemical engineering and chemistry, where I learned to use DFT. I look forward to seeing computational materials science through a different lens than I am used to. Specifically, I hope that there will be applications of DFT in different (sub)fields than I have applied it to. Therefore this course will hopefully give me more insight into applications.
