Issue with work function

I attempted to calculate the work function as described in the hands-on section, but when trying to run the ppinput.in file, I get a ‘error reading xml file’ message. I’m not sure what might cause this.

I also encountered the same problem. I figured out that the ‘prefix’ should be the same as the one you used for the pw.x calculation.
For the pw.x calculation if you used prefix = abc, use the same prefix in pp.x calculation. The xml file is being created when you run the pw.x
