    Hi!

I’m Joachim and taking this course from Ghent.
You should come to Ghent for the waffles at the train station and the cuberdons at the Korenmarkt.
I’m in my second and last year of the Master of physics and astronomy. I like to run and enjoy life to the utmost of my ability. Fun fact: I went to the US for an internship and Gerbrand Ceder was my main supervisor. It was a lot of fun conducting research in a group that big and I hope to do this as job next year as well (but not in the US, too far away). I expect this course to give me a comprehensive understanding of everything that has to do with DFT and to teach me a lot of new technical skills. As I mentioned before, I want to do research, more specifically computational research that has nothing to do with astronomy. I believe this course will contribute to exactly this long term goal. If you’re reading this to develop yourself as I am, I wish you the best of luck and a wonderfull life!
