Assuming that we want to deal with the many body problem of celestial objects with the Schrodinger equation, I guess DFT and the Kohn-Sham equation can give the density of ‘light’ celestial objects. The Hartree potential would describe gravitational interaction between the quasi-‘light’ object and the density of the ‘light’ objects, external potential would describe gravitaional interaction between the quasi-‘light’ object and the ‘heavy’ objects. I don’t know what the exchange correlational potential would mean, let alone if whether it exists or not.
