I think it’s fabulous that we can use computational tools to decipher whether a particular material can exist or function. Everything happening to a technology can somewhat be explained by looking at the micro interactions occurring. We can know how well a new battery material will perform without having to do experiments, but from studying the defect and transport properties and so on. I think it’s very interesting.
