When I first entered the experimental research world back in 2016, I was very sceptical about the idea of creating a material theoretically and studying its different properties. I always thought about how it is possible to mimic real-world material with so many factors to take care of with some computer-generated material. When I learned the concepts, I saw some of my colleagues research in this field, then I was blown away by the accuracy of creating material with thoughts. Now, I believe it is a very powerful and interesting way to represent real-world material, and it can be a synergistic way to go forward in material science research.
