Hi,
My name is Cedric and I am currently enrolled in the master of nanophysics at the university of Antwerp.
The idea of being able to predict macroscopic properties of materials starting from microscopic quantum mechanical principles intrigues me, as it opens the door to creating new materials with certain desired properties from the ground up.
I hope this course will give me insight in how this works and where we stand today.
