My name is Diana

I live in Durango, Mexico. Durango is a very beautiful city with colonial buildings, it has beautiful natural landscapes that attract tourism. So I invite you to get to know my city. Durango is also a city where several international films have been filmed, including The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) among many others. I am a Doctor in Materials Sciences. I do simulation research on nanomaterials and molecules, but mostly chemical properties in molecules, I also do some synthesis and characterization work on nanomaterials. This course will be useful to me to better understand the simulation of nanomaterials, especially those in crystalline systems. My long-term goal with this course is the design of new materials through knowledge of their electronic properties for different crystalline systems and surfaces.
