For hydrogen and such
The problem is with materials we have. Lot more electrons and nuclei and the h Hamiltonian becomes complicated to write for all interactions
Also since we need more properties known for materials, just solving an EQ isn’t enough.. we need to know how the system behaves with modified equations .. all we may not know parameters for materials that need to B plugge into equation all the time
