    I think the biggest argument you can make is that as a computational scientist you apply the theory that was discovered before you. Without the theory your job would not exist hence you cannot be a theoretical scientist because it has been done before.
    I think a lot of people think it is the same thing. They think that the calculation is anyway only a calculation ‘in theory’ instead of physical proof when you do experiments.
