In the computational world, I guess we have to have a mathematical expression of the natural event in order to visualize that in the computer. Like in any type of mathematical model there are boundary conditions and initial values. That being said in the computational world we create the one perfect way so in order to fully confirm the natural event and our computational result we have to have experiments.
